As of August 2010, there is a moratorium on the use of composite bats at the Sr/Jr level (13-16 yr olds). Any child playing SR or JR baseball next season, CANNOT use a composite bat. Half and Half bats (only composite handles) are allowed.

As for the Major Division and below (ages 12yr old and under), there has not been any information given to us at this time. But the feeling is that there is a very good chance the ban will take place at the lower divisions as well. We have spoken to the District, and the reccomendation is at this time to suggest that parents DO NOT buy these bats until it is confirmed that they will be aloud. The bats are very expensive, and we would not want a parent to spend the money and then not be able to use them. More information will follow.
